Posted this in the GD forum - here is what I have, do you guys suggest ALKY?

I have a 2.5" Turbonetics DP, which I am replacing with a TH DP. Definitely getting new tires for 140$. I am also getting the vacuum brake conversion and Scanmaster for sure. I don't know if I should go with the 3.5" MAF + MAFT+ though, or hte ALKY. Here is what I currently have on my car... I'll have rougly 500-600 left after I buy all the stuff I really need.

I am going into the Air Force June 29th, and that's when I'll be putting in 4-5k into my car. Right now I am just working up and building up my car to get ready for the new turbo and all that jazz.

The MAFT will allow for tuning what you have, but wont allow the boost level increase alky will.

I say get both :D

If your car has a questionable MAF, dont put an alky kit and increase the boost. Your motor/electronics have to be in proper working order for higher boost to be run. Whether alky or race gas.

Tho I would say get an alky kit before an IC upgrade. But the MAF is the heart of your fuel management system. And I would rather have a nice driving car without alky, then a poorly running car with alky.
