What do you think.... Is the best bang for your buck?
Wanting to turn the boost up without getting caught.

I have used Valentine 1 for years. Out here in the middle of no where it does a fine job.

Has saved my butt MANY times. Especially when I was travelling for a living.
NOTHING will save you when you get nailed w/ the "instant on" unit.:(

Escorts 9500IX is the winner by the link above by far even against valintine, just click the lighted area "9500i" and see for yourself...I bought that one and it links together with my Escort laser jammer shifter Z-4..Great unit but not cheap..

valentine

owner of the pawnshop i used to run had one, good unit and i think the upgrades were either free or real inexpensive. alot of good technology out there. heard about one that tells you the speed your traveling at and radar traps. might have been on this website, you may have to do some searching and i even think is was in the turbo lounge. good luck and the valentine even the older ones are great have front and rear detection before most others ever did.

V1 here also. Didn't help me when a crooked cop lied and said he got me with oncoming radar going 8 miles faster than I really was. Said I was going 83 when I had the cruise set on 75.

I've got a Rocky Mountain Radar w/ jammer. Had a state trooper buddy clock me just to be sure it worked...it works, but at close range the radar can punch through the bubble.

we only install Valentine 1 on the Italian cars ;)

Most requested, most trusted.

Got an iPhone?? Anyone tried using Trapster app....used to not be very good but as more and more people have started using it its been performing very well in the last few months.
Simple app you have running on your iphone, see a cop hit a button to report cop running radar in the area and anyone else with the app running sees that with a visual and audio signal and shows it on a map...uses GPS and google maps realtime. Also warns you of redlight cams.

Have used Escorts/Passports for 20+ years...saved me hundreds of times...but I do have over 75 tickets in my lifetime :)

I do like my escort 9500ix. I'd like to see that Iphone app for a blackberry

Valentine 1

I've read the radar test dot com bs. Their reviews are slanted and biased.
I've had a V1 for almost 4 years. Saved me countless times. I would rather know what direction the radar is shooting from than a stupid red idiot light with sound. My Ka band detection is 2.3 miles straight line. Hills, curves and valleys make a difference of course. By the way, the most used radar detector by LEO's is the V1. That is, the ones that admit to using a radar detector.
You get what you pay for. Unlimited updates from V1 when necessary. I haven't had to update mine since I bought it. You can check on the V1 web site to find out if your unit needs one by running the unit's serial number. Keeping the unit indefinitely is worth the $. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:D

Valentine 1 here in the old WE4.

I need one in the GN too, fer sure.

Worth the money just for all the local speedtraps I see in 25mph zones.

I don't drive that fast (over 75) on the highway where the instant and radar usually is.

One more plus for the V1. All radar signals are not valid or false. There are many reasons for this, but if the V1 filters the signal and it is not valid it will tell you with a J for a junk signal besides letting you know what direction to look for it.
