Loose Converter Bolts?

Can loose converter bolts make a sound similar to a rod knock? At idle it sounds like something is flopping around, and under acceleration it is a ticking, almost like an exhuast leak.

What do ya guys think here?

yup, I had 1 bolt loosen off last summer. I checked everything on the engine but nothing seemed loose. I noticed it alot on deceleration or at idle as a rattle but never at speed or under acceleration. A friend came over and listened for about 1 min. and asked if I had checked converter bolts??? Never thought to check there because the noise wasn'y in that area....who knew. I pulled the cover ..retorqued the bolts and no more problems...hope this helps

Crap I just got back in. 2 Bolts were loose, I didnt notice a crack, but then i wasnt really looing closely for one.
