loosing ALL power- 2001 GTP

Ok yesterday I turn the car on for about 1 minute move it then turn it of.
about half hour later I go to turn it on again - I put the key in the ignition turn it and nothing- not even the interior lights turn on and the key doesn't want to come out - I play with the key back and forth and the only thing that moves is the Fuel gauge- anyway after a few minutes all the power comes back and it starts and runs fine. So I go for a ride.

The next time I go to turn on the car I noticed that the clock just reset back to 1:00 pm and the car took a lot longer to turn on.

What could be the problem?

The AC/Delco batteries are also prone to the battery posts (on the battery itself) to crack and leak. The battery terminal bolt will be tight, but the post loses contact inside the battery.
