Losing boost under pull.

If I am doing a pull on the street the boost comes in nice and stays at 20 psi but after shifting to second the boost drops to 12-15 psi but than will shoot back up to 20 psi after a few seconds. What could be causing this problem?

What Chip? Boost leak at charge tubes? Wastegate stock?

Turbo tweak chip stock wastegate and as far as I can tell no boost leaks at the charge pipes.

I know the car in stock trim drops boost through the gears (trying to find the article on the boost levels 1-4)

Log your fuel pressure. I bet its just falling off, fuel pump restriction/vent/filter/pump not up to the task, hole in the hose that connects the pump to the hangar.

If you are on pump 93 gas only, you're gonna blow the engine. Pull the boost back to 16 at most, and try again.

heavy duty,could also be worn out,just not getting enough pressure to keep the gate closes

Do you think it could be a clogged fuel filter? The fuel pump is a few years old
