lost to a 6bbl road runner

My neighbor has a beautiful '69 440 6 bbl Road Runner all stock right down to the manifolds. We were out at a cruise night and met at a light. My car has a couple of mods so I thought I could give him all he could handle - wrong!

He pulled about 3-4 lengths on me. Man those old Mopars run hard.

Traci,where you from? Just couse it looks stock,doesnt mean its stock I was at Bristol and there was a pefect 69 Super Bee 440+6 running low 12`s. This car wasnt "pure stock",there is a thing known as stock appearing,or F.A.S.T.I`m putting together a 71 Stage1,I hpoe the car to run low 12`s"stock" that is

the 69 6barrel Roadrunner's and Super B's run low 13's stock- I should know, I've owned one since 1980. Mine stock ran 13.0's all day long. A good running 12 second buick will beat them.
