Question: Do you know how to eat a elephant?

Answer: One bite at a time.

How did that car get that way?? The body looks pretty straight.

I`ve traveled that same road. Looks great

The previous owner did not do anything to stop the t-top and firewall water leaks. I decided to have sheet metal patches welded in instead of replacing the entire floor pan. Also replaced all fuel and brake lines, and the gas tank. It actually now has an all new interior, factory GN rims with 4 new P235 60 15s. Just took it off the jackstands after 2 years. Still needs some body rust repair and paint. Will be a life-long hobby.

I expected to see a GN on life support:wink: Those pics look like a healthy patient to me, keep the progress pics coming along in this thread:smile:

We don't deal with rust in SoCal but the sun damage is brutal, my dash is cracked, pad is separating, 'new' paint (4 years old) is sunchecked, seat fabric rotted from the sun, window rubber and weather strips as well:redface:
