Low fuel light stays on

The previous owner of my 87 GN did hot wire the high flow pump. the light use to flicker but now it stays on. How to repair??

Does your car have alky injection? GN's didn't come with fuel lights so someone put it in. Razors alky kit comes with an LED that goes in that spot to let you know when you're low on alky and it tends to flicker when running low.

The 1987 GN did NOT come equipped with a low fuel light?

Wiring must be screwed up.

That was real simple. he did install the Alky kit and the sensor shows it is low on alky.

ok Ill got out on a limb here... try putting in Methonal and see if the light goes out ... I think it might

I top off my Meth everyday ... I don't have the "low fuel" option installed

A low fuel solid state board/light can be installed in our cars- i think it comes out of a riveria-if its not he alky-the board could be removed or replaced to put out the light.
