LS1 maf tuning with MAF translator

Like the title says, i need some help from anyone who has tuned in a LS1 maf with the maf translator. I was looking around to see if there are any posts that would help me, but i didnt really find anything that useful.

Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.

If you have a Translator or Translator+, it will need to be set correctly for this chip. The BASE setting should be set to match your MAF sensor, and the WOT setting should be at 0. The 4 small white switches should be set to ON, ON, ON, OFF. You can use the BASE rich or lean settings to bump the BLM's up or down if they are more than 10-12 numbers away from 128

what chip are you running?

What monitoring equipment do you have? (Scanmaster, wideband, etc.)

not running any chip as of yet. Im waiting to get my 86-87 conversion put on, with all the upgrades until i buy a chip.

Ill be scanning with a scanmaster unless you have a better option for me. Im not picking up the car until next week, but he has all the parts for it, just not installed.

Any advise on what scantool to get or any newbie suggestions on the easiest routes to take, im willing to listen. Ive been working on the 98 regal, so i understand that car much more than the 85 GN right now.
