LS1 to GN Guy???$$$

New to the GN scene, Restoring a 1987 Hard top GN with 50k miles. Hopefully after I get the body back on the frame and finish it up it will be as fast as my 2001 Trans Am. One thing is it way more expensive to upgrade if you can find the parts.(side marker lights) I guess the fun is finding the parts since most are discontinued. Will post pictures when it is allowed.

Finding parts for these cars does suck. 5 Years ago you could walk into a GM dealership and buy almost anything brand new for a decent price. Now you have to spend more than new for used parts that sometimes aren't that great.
Post some pics when you can.
