Luckey`s Rod Run started several years ago on the 1st weekend of the year when a group of guys drove to the Chicken Oil Co. (great hamburgers) in College Station to eat. They decided to do this every year since, they would tell their friends, their friends would tell their friends & so on. It has grown into one of the largest classic vehicle gatherings around,(no trophies or awards, just a rod run) if the weather is good ( looks like it will be) there should be approx. 500 vehicles there. Several restaurants to choose from. Bring a coat, we`re headed North.
The Rod Run ends in Bryan / College Station @ the Chicken Oil Co. other restaurants & surrounding area. We get there early to find a parking space together, it`s usually over by 1:00 pm.
