My wife and I are in the junkyard loking for some Jeep parts. There were none so we walk through the GM area, and I'm looking at some Regals and then a Caprice for the MAF when we hear the yard picker thing coming at us. She says"isn't that a TType". At first I'm thinking NO WAY, but as it gets closer sure enough it is. We wait until the picker sets it down and then I'm all over it. The motor, wheels and gas tank are gone, but most everyting else is there. I find some papers and it says its an 1987 Regal T. The trunk is filled with the heads, lifters , pushrods and stuff. So I grab the ECM, turbo shield, PS pump and bracket and some smalls.

The tranny, rear, steering box, grille, bumper fillers, powermaster, seats, doors, dash, radio (w/EQ) are still there. Its at Pine Brook Auto Salvage, Pine Brook, NJ.

Gonna try and get back Friday to see what's left.

Dont those places pull the motor and put it on a shelf, then stick the car outside...

GO back and see---hurry...;)

I dont think the motor is intact. In the trunk I found a double roller chain, the 8445 heads, lifters and pushrods and cam. Might have been spares, but prolly not.

The right side window was smashed, so I think it was stolen and the engine blown.

It did have the CSII lower panel on the right.

Probably just a skeleton now.

Sounds like a good ebay score :)

Guess it is true you have to be in the right place at the right time. :)

I have only seen one in a junk yard & it was picked clean.
