I am sure there are a few turbo buick owners out there who also do Machine work.

I would like to have a simple concentric ruducer bushing made. with 1"-20 external thread and 3/4"-16 internal threads and being 1" in Length.

Not fussy about material used, Can be brass, aluminum, steel , Ect

Would like 2 or 3 of these made,

This part is to use a AMSOIL bypass oil filter , which has 1"-20 threads , for use on a standard oil filter mount that has 3/4"-16 threads, AN oil filter adapter bushing.

Please reply if interested, or know someone who may be,

Thanks and Regards

HI KENDALL, I stayed in ORANGE PARK, FLA 4 years ago on my way to KEY WEST.

THE bigge oil filter adapter has 18MM 1.5 female threads and 13/16"-16 male threads to use on the oil cooler take off found on the 86-87 GN cars, It alows to use a chevy type filter.

I want something ENTIRELY different, I USE a amsoil bypass filter to filter my turbo oil line, I am now going to add the FORCEFEIED magnetic spin-on adapter to my mount , I have a 3/4-16 male to 1-20 adapter NOW, but it will not work with the added part in the mix now,
THE amsoil BYPASS filter has THREADs Like no other <> ONE INCH TWENTY, that is 1"-20, BIG, only other thing that uses this size thread is THROWAWAY gas cylinders, it is an ODD BALL

SO , now I need an BUSHING < WITH 3/4"-16 threads on the inside bore, and 1"-20 size threads on the outside, and the part has to only be about an inch long, IT is referred to AS<> a threaded CONCENTRIC REDUCER BUSHING

JASON CRAMER's part IS nowhere near what i need

All-Ready have that Now

BLACKHAWK38,
Rather than a bushing with both i.d & o.d. thds, why not remove the 3/4"-16 fitting and have one made with the needed threads on the o.d? (3/4-16 on one end & 1"-20 on the other.)
Seems easier to make because cutting 16 tpi i.d. thds is more of a PITA & much slower. (should lower the machining costs)

I am Currently doing what you suggest,

I have a perma-cool # 1791 remote oil filter mount, It is 3/4-16 thread, It comes with a steel 3/4-16 nipple and the body center hole is CAST 3/4-16 hole, I put the supplied nipple aside, I have a custom adapter that i had made with Male 3/4-16 threads on one end and male 1"-20 threads on the other, WORKS GREAT< BUT NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM>>>>> I now am going to ad the NEW FORCEFIELD magnetic adapter inbetween the filter and the mount, THE new adapter has 3/4-16 FEMALE threads on the side that goes towards the mounting base, fine this will screw right in the cast hole, BUT on the filter side is a male 3/4-16 nipple, NOT fine , to small for the one-inch-twenty hole in the AMSOIL BE-100 bypass oil filter,

SO<> I have got to make that 3/4-16 stub grow to the required 1-20 size, the only way I know is to use a concentric threaded bushing with a 3/4-16 threaded female center bore and the outside in the 1"-20 threads i need for the amsoil filter.

Regards
