Neat, Ive always loved Vee Dubs but im waaaay too big to fit in one :frown:

have the folks at Mouse Meat down in tacoma take a look at it. They do wonderful work on bugs, and will definetley bring some more patina into that ride:smile:

Damn Geno, you are always finding that odd ball stuff !! Like those little Honda bikes. ( Worth good money though) Got that hot rod up and running again?

Yeah it would with a mid engine turbo V/6 in it.

Man i hope you get it i love old 60's VW, now i want one good luck.

My friend just restored a 1994 beetle for his dad. The car sat because of emissions for 2 years. When Illinois did away with emissions he started working on it. Came from south of the border. How much are they wanting for it. There is a guy in Dixon Il that has alot of beetle stuff. Spencers home for battered bugs is the name. Those cars are fun to drive

All the more reason to buy it LOL JK
The color is not my first choice thats for sure:eek:

It would be interesting to know how many on this board know what semaphore turn signals are...without using google :)

Weirdest car I ever drove, it was a semi-automatic. Everytime I went to change gears, my left foot went looking for the clutch

My brother in law possessed two bugs but had to sell them due to his growing family one was a 49 split oval semaphores original pan, the other was a 56 oval with semaphores as well, loved those cars. i"d buy it if i were you.

I believe Rolls royce was the first one to use them on their 30's cars. There was a 1937 silver cloud limo owned by a guy in addison Il. It was one of three made and it had them. I remember towing that car to a shop back in 1988 for a 12,000 clutch job:eek:. I had a customer come in with a 54 bug with air conditioning. At least thats what he called it. It was a big white thing that hung off the side of the car .looked like some kind of vortex thing:confused:
