MAF screw holes

Quick question. What are the two screw holes on the stock MAF for? Mine are empty but I wonder if there should be a bracket or something.

the stock air cleaner housing had a bracket that the maf bolted to
atr had a bracket that bolted to the base of the stock air cleaner allowing you to bolt the MAF to that

if you have a rigid maf air pipe you shouldnt need to bolt the maf to anything
if youre trying to still use the OE flexible hose than you would need something
