maf sensor question

ok i got my maf translator 2 and i wanted to with the 3 1/2 ls1 maf sensor but the new delco design prohibits me from using my 4inch adapter housing.
my question is would it be ok if i used a granatelli maf sensor instead of the delco?

I would go with something like the abaco 97MM maf. I am fairly pleased with it so far.

Be honest now. How much fiddling did you have to do with it to "get it right".

Actually it runs well at low speed with no mods from the file they supply. However I have not tuned the car yet at all much, came out too late in the season. But in the spring I;ll get at it. So, yes it still needs a lot of tweaking I agree.

Maf sensor

Does anyone know what the pressure drop is across a 3.5" Ls1 maf.I have a translator + but I'm looking at other options.Thanks for any comments
