MAF Translator Location Question...

Just saw a vid of a guy running the maf between the intercooler piping and the upipe.. per air temp sensor would be right up on the air traveling toward the motor rather than the air preturbo.. ive seen the air temp tapped on to plenum but dont want to tap my plenum..... im wondering if the MAF can feel some alky spary i plan to spray some alky preturbo and on upipe..

Tha alchy may damage the maf, oil and some spray cleaners can. What if the alchy were to accumulate in the i/c, not to mention the caustic effect?
