Maf

I can only get the max of 220 out of my MAF. Is it bad?
I have 6 at idle. Both screens are gone. That way when I bought the car. If so, how much is this hurting performance?
The car only runs 13.40's on "real" street tires with a 2.02 sixty foot.

Stock MAF
16lbs of boost
PT52 turbo

The car drives well. It idles fine to.

It just isn't as fast as it should be and I'm trying to figure out why?

I am getting some detonation and after going over everything, all I can find is that my MAF isn't going all the way to 255 at WOT, it reads from 220-240. Hopefully, I can borrow a known good one from somebody and see what happens.
I know that if that is the problem, I will go with a translator. I am really tired of going through buick MAF sensor.
Hopefully someone will answer better than me.

Go the X-later route if the loot will support the decision. I have had good luck finding 3" late model mafs at my junk yard for very cheap loot.

also to answer ur ? the car will be weak w/ those low maf numbers. So either u have a bad maf or some other prob. in your system. Might also be detonating which will rob power and cause damage to ur engine.
