I do not need a maf but I saee Advance is selling re-manufactured or brand new mafs for the same price around 74.00.Does anybody know how good their new ones are?Bruce

It's taking a big risk in buying a re-man one. Complete shot in the dark, if you're lucky 10% of them might be calibrated correctly.

Save your $$$. When your MAF finally pukes get a Translator and LT1 or LS1 MAF. Do it right and forget about it

FWIW, I bought a re-man from NAPA and spent two months after trying to find out why I had to have my injector constant set at 36# (I Have MSD 50#'s) for the BLM's to be anywhere near correct. After getting Direct scan and seeing that my idle MAF was only at 3, I took that MAF back.

I was told by one of the major chip gurus it was supposed to be 6.
