OK guys, it all started with the check engine light on. Now, since I owned this '87 GN (March 2001), the light has never stayed on until last night. It worried me, but what the heck, I was with a new girl and didn't think much of it.
But after a bit of driving, I realized that I had a major accelaration problem. The car won't accel fast at all. I can floor it and be so slow a Yugo would beat me. I hooked up a Scanmaster 2.1 the other day, and gave it a look after I dropped the chick off. I got an error code 21 ("throttle pos. sensor high"), which could mean "bad sensor, broken wire to sensor". Could this be the problem, or is it something else? How can I check this problem? Keep in mind I am an idiot when it comes to cars, so I'll need a detailed description of where to look (dunno even know what a throttle looks like) and no big words either please.
Sorry to sound stupid, but please help! Thanks!
