I just finished pulling off the passenger side head. Number 6 had blown out on the header side thank goodness. Fire ring didn't blow. Number 4 also had gasket eaten away. Haven't pulled the other head yet.

This all happened when my stock vacuum line on the regulator came apart during a potential high 10 second pass on 27 psi of boost. The 02's suddenly dropped to 0 at 5200 rpms in 3rd gear at about the 1000' mark  but it was too late. Just letting you guys know to make sure ALL vacuum lines are secured and TIGHT when running high boost (especially at the regulator!)

I'd rather blow a headgasket then melt a piston anyday though. Guess we'll try it again next year. Winter is coming anyways which this mess up doesn't really bother me.

wow that sucks to hear man, ive had some close calls with vacuum lines. I was recently driving my GN for 9 weeks straight as a daily driver. Well i got kinda used to just driving it 26 psi and all without touching a thing, including not looking under the hood. Well all of a sudden i noticed it was getting lean up top(thought it was because of the temperature drop outside), so i added 8% fuel and all was well. Went to the track and had the hood popped and noticed somehow the front bolt holding down the vacuum block on the throttle body had come completely loose. Lets just say the extra vacuum/boost to the regulator when i tightened it down + 8% more fuel may have been a tad rich haha. good luck getting it together, that 10 sec slip will be yours soon.
