It seems that Geometry is really important in the TV setup. What is the "geometry" refering to? Where the cable hooks onto the carb? How far it travels on the carb? The distance and angle of the wire and bracket?
All the kits seem to be really expensive. Bow tie Overdrives kit is nearly 100 bucks for just the brackets and cable.
So I was thinking about buying just the cable ofcourse and then the special little boomerang shaped TV cable corrector for a Holley Carb.
- Then I would make my own back bracket for the end of the cable housing (where you would push/clip it in the square). Does it matter how far the end of the housing/bracket is??? Does it matter that angle it is coming in at? If its parrallel or not?
- Also what about the TV plunger spring? BTO has a custom lenght spring to prevent "short spring syndrome" Would I need a different TV plunger spring?
Thanks!
