Got a question relating to this stuff here. While reading the parameters on GN/ttype.org, I note this:
"
- no Code 21 or 22 (TPS Error) present, and
- the air flow reported is < 4 grams per second, and
- TPS indicates 10% or more throttle position, and
- the engine speed is 1800 RPM or higher, and
- the above conditions exist for over 5 seconds.
Typical causes for this code include:
1) Faulty air ducting to or from MAF sensor
2) Faulty ECM-to-MAF connections
3) Poor routing of MAF harness (i.e. near coil packs)
4) Maladjusted TPS sensor
5) Defective MAF sensor
6) Defective ECM
If the codes are not cleared manually, they will be cleared by the ECM after 50 engine starts with no malfunctions. "
Now, taking in account my current build (in my sig) if I had a setting wrong for example, or did some unplugging of some wires, and caused my own code 34, and I'm within the 50 starts parameter, does all this stuff still apply to my modded car?
And is all I have to do to see if my TPS is adjusted correctly is put it to KOEO, set the scanmaster to tps, and see if it's between .36-.44 with the pedal up, and 4.5-4.9 with the pedal all the way depressed?
