How dare some1 do omething like this, My father always told me God decides when you go not you. This was such a coward way out, & how can you kill your 5 kids. the F*cking Economy isnt tht bad !!!

I saw this on the news and could hardly believe this guy could kill his 5 children which included 2 sets of twins - 2 year old boys and 5 year old girls and an 8 year old girl.

They said it was because he and his wife lost their jobs at a hospital. I suppose it would have been much to hard to find another JOB.

This is so sad because kids don't get to chose or have protection from the parents they get stuck with when they are born.

If this stupid nut wanted to kill himself he should have gone somewhere away from his family and just did his self and left them alone.

I have 2 girls & a step son, my girls are 5 , & my little boy is 9...
I would never hurt them how does tht cross your mind as a solution, It is just plain selfish, I would give anything I physically have right now if it would've saved those kids , I'm sure alot of people would've.... It's only about $..

I mean like I said, times are hard I lost over 100k cash on a deal gone bad with a Ranch.. I was depressed for a minute, thn I sucked it up. If you've never failed, you wont realize when you have succeeded..

I could never understand that. They say if you know the meaning of suicide, you have thought of it. But to take out your own children???

Most people don't realize how good they have it. I dont care if I was knee deep in bills, living in someone else's storage shed with no future in sight. How could you kill your own children?

Stop and think about the blessings you have before you think about your burdens. I honestly think I am one of the richest people in the world even though I don't make a lot of money. I have a wonderful wife, 3 great kids and we are all healthy. I can provide for them and put a roof over their heads. Really, what more do you need?

with me gitting layed off my wife and step daughter will eat first and i will see to it that they will get what they need first. If i have to,i will hunt for something to eat even if it meens potching. Thier are ways of doing thing then to kill your family and yourself.

Part of one of the reports I read said there was a 911 call from a male reporting coming home and his family had all been shot. It is possible the mom had killed the children and herself and on seeing this the father did the same.

Doesn't matter, if you are the man of your house, you should know if your wife is crazy enough to do something like that.

Please don't take this the wrong way Warp, but we've all been depressed at one time or another, and it's no excuse. One of the problems with our society is this built in excuse because of some type of mental situation, like adhd, depression, ocd, and the others. Bunch of bs if you ask me, deal with it and don't ask for help.

This guy should be taken out to the bridge, have his nuts cut off, and just before he bleeds out be thrown over the bridge just like that precious little child was. They can save the prozac for somebody else.

According to the media, his suicide note said it was a joint decision that he and his wife had come to. They had both lost their jobs. And, according to the same article it had nothing to do with the economy. Their termination was regarding 'a financial dispute'. No matter what, though, it's horrible to drag the kids down with you. Reading stuff like that really sticks with me - it's impossible for me to imagine how someone could do that.

Hold on guys. I heard an entirely different story than this...

I heard that the couple worked for the same place, some kind of medical facility. On their application for child care they lied about something, which was wrong I agree. They went into work one day in Dec. and a manager called them in and told them what he had found and that they should have stayed home and "Blowed their brains out" instead of coming to work that day... The couple went to the H/R dept and filed a complaint against the man. Two days later they were fired...

A couple of days before the killings, the wife called their lawyer to find out about a settlement they were supposed to get for a car wreck, very small. The lawyer said he told them a couple of more days and she seemed fine and hung up...

I for one am not excusing what he did, that was I guess one of the ultimate sins. I can not imagine what was in his mind other than the devil...

However before we cast to many stones, think about what this man was going through and facing... In Cali, no job and all those mouths to feed and depending on him. Getting ready to loose their home. Got to be some tough shoes to fill....
