How are they installed and do they spool as fast as using the stock solenoid or do you use them both ? At what level do you set the wastegate actuator using the controller. I want to purchase one but not if it is gonna slow spool. TA-49, V-4, THDP, D5 Conv. Just need some general detail and info on how it works. Suggestions on purchase?

I got the little one from ATR, mounted it next to my shifter, unpluged the hose from the wastegate solenoid, got 6' of 7/32 hose at Allied pluged it onto the end of the Y and the other end to the bleeder valve. I tightened my actuator pretty tight, started with the bleeder closed (clockwise) and went out and adjusted. Just floor it and open the bleeder until the boost is where you want it. I open it enough so that in third gear, I get just a touch of retard, Thats usually 18# or so on direct scan & scanmaster (the scanmaster is easier to read WFO but it's slower) One thing that is good is the boost doesn't jump around like with the solenoid on MY car, they're all diff.;)
