There has rarely been a time when I have not been willing to bend over backwards to help a fellow Buick owner in need. Advice, tools, parts, labor, track assistance, etc.

No matter how much money you spend, or how many cars you have, have had, or plan to have, sooner or later something comes up that baffles the sh*t out of you and you gotta put the ego aside and say "I need some help".

I'm the type that spends weeks upon weeks, trying to figure something out only to have someone else in 10 minutes give me a suggestion that makes me go "Why didn't I think of that - You Idiot!!!".

Nordy, Kevin & Lou went out of their way today, to help me correct a valve train problem, and an electrical wiring harness issue. Four heads were better than one and I want to extend my thanks to each and every one of them again for the advice and assistance.

I look forward to returning the favor

Plus, if the damn thing breaks again.....now I have 3 other people to blame..... :D

Thanks Guys

Ray

Ray many thanks to you also for helping me numerous times with my car, no need to return any favors thats what we are here for,we are a small community and should help each other out, just get that harness electric problem fix and lower the damn boost and you will have a nice low 11 second car all day long for a long time on pump gas. :)

PS: it was a nice gesture of you to try and take us to Drome1 for a GOKART session, good thing it didn't happen because i would off embarrassed Nordy pretty bad., yes nordy, im talking to you. ;)

wicked.

well im game, I have some records there myself. April and march i had top 5 lap times, and I won the enduro event in december by 5 laps over 2nd place. I was also set up to win the 2004 season of Irwindale karting, but had to drop out because I had no more money its was $50 a race, but had two 20 lap warm up races, 2 qualifying races 20 laps, 1 group A main and 1 group B main 20 laps, then 1 quarter final race 20 laps, then 1 semi final race, 20 laps then 1 final race 20 laps with the best from both groups. In one night, if you advanced all the way you would get over 160 laps of racing in. It was the best time I had ever had, i wish i was rich, or my dad really encouraged me, i was the freaking points leader out of 30 drivers. After 7 races I was in the points lead by about 10 points and had to drop out, it sucked!! My first time ever @ that track it was the first race of the season, I got 1st place/fastest lap time/fastest mph of the night. I really really pissed off some regulers their, including 2 circle track racers who after the races called me a "lier" and a "fake" after I told them I had never been to this track before, it was legendary! I have many stories about both dromo1 karting and Irwindale karting, next time i see you guys I'll share. I'm always game for karting  I wish I could kart race you guys for parts thats for dam sure!!!! Wish i was rich too so i could have continued that season, it would have been the first time ever a amatuer would have won the season.

Anyways Ray; i agree with kevin as werid as it sounds. Our community is small, so its really not that big of a deal to go outta your way for someone, I do it all the time! Your 6.98 video along with Lou's laster from Irwindale will be coming after this weekend!

Nordy/Kevin/Lou ? You mean Curly/Larry/Moe the three stooges LOL ! Glad it's fixed. Electrical problems can be a pain. The more stuff that's installed the more to go wrong. The worst is the stereo installers. I fought a perf. running problem forever & discovered that someone wired the power antenna to the orange power wire to the computer. The customer than blamed me for not finding it sooner & never gave the culprit that did it a second thought. The other day a customer came in with a fried alt.& no high blower speed. Someone installed a ground wire to the power source going to the blower relay & caused three individual electrical problems at once. Most electrical gremlins are caused by human error & carelessness. Maybe I'm old school . But what's the purpose of installing 500 pounds of stereo equipment & 22" wheels on a perf car? Why not just go out & buy an SUV or something better suited.? Death to Bling!

Ray,
not a problem MAN, it was a blast to get under the hood of a GN again and to help out a freind. hopefully when the GN gets out here in 2 weeks, we can have fun tearing up the stangs and imports at Irwindale :p ...

Wicked,
put your money where your mouth is buddy  ... sorry, you have a new project to pay for now so never mind...

Yeah, I've met Lou and Nordy and they are both great guys. I only talked to Nordy for a bit so I don't know too much about him, but Lou is the man. He is the coolest old guy ever (No offense Lou!). I'm going to come out and watch you guys at Irwindale one of these Thursdays, I've just been really busy with School now that I'm back at college taking all these damn business and economics courses. Can't wait to check it out though!

Actually what I intended to say was thanks for the kind words.Nordy also is a class guy. Although I think since were both East coast no B.S. types . Sometimes our first impressions aren't that great.
