Map sensor

Anybody know the GM part number's to a 3 or 4 bar map sensor. Will a 4 bar work with xfi and alky???, Dave

Dont know the part number but I dont see why a 4 bar wouldnt work. I think you have to setup the XFI for it. I forget where (in XFI) but you type in 4 bar instead of 3.

AEM sells a 3.5 bar that is good up to 37 PSI.

The 3 bar is a 12223861

The Duramax I believe uses a larger MAP.. which I dont know.

You run 30 PSI on a MAF that maxed out at 14 PSI , you drive faster than the 85 the speedo reads.. So to answer.. there is no issue running higher than the sensor can read. As long as the fuel being delivered at 30 PSI is enough to support whatever boost is being run.
