mass air meter

how do clean the mass air meter out its oily inside .can use carb cleaner ,or will it mess things up . :

Unless it is having problems I would leave it alone. IMO the sensors are too expensive and the boards in them too fragile to mess around with. I wouldn't think getting the board wet with any type of liquid would do it any good. Just use less oil on your filter...

CRC QD electic cleaner. What this stuff is made for. helped me lose my off idle stumble.

DO NOT use carb cleaner - it'll discolor things....

The CRC is the best bet.

thanks for the info guys as to were to buy it i would say a eletrical parts store .or maybe you could try lowes .

Radio shack may be able to recommend some kind of electrical cleaner too.
