MAT, IAT, IAC i dont know

someone help i am changing to a 87 ecm and they said i need a mat sensor the store sad nothing, the IAT nothing maybe the iac does any one know what this sensor is that i need and what it could be under at the store and what it looks like. I have spent all day trying to get this sensor that i need.

I beleieve the a MAT is manifold air temp. I don't believe we have one on our cars. What you do need to do is get a IAT (intake air temp) and wire it into you ecm harness. Also you have to change the MAF (mass air flow) to an 87 or you can take that money and get a custom chip from caspers or john craig and tell him you have a 84-85 maf and the will configure for it. I personaly have the 87 ecm and IAT and a chip from caspers and still have my original maf.

If they are that brain dead, just call Dal in the GNttype vendors area.

Bump come to shove, the coolant temps sensor reads the same temp wise but is slower responding, so in a pinch it can get you by till you get the right one
