I'm running a plug and play harness with my F.A.S.T. system

My 1st question:

Does the fast system use the stock MAT sensor.

2nd question:

If it does, within reason, where is the best place to locate it ?
(in the up pipe or the plenum)

YOU can either put it in the up pipe or plenum, wont make much difference. Stock sensor works yes

Thanks Norbs,

Is there any difference in the depth it sits in the up pipe or plenum.

I'm thinking of air-flo interference ?

I put them in the back side of the intake under the coil pack

hiden and works just fine there

Did you thread the plenum or weld a bung on to it? Or was it threaded in to the intake manifold itself? Any pics?

hey red could you e-mail me with the pic as well, im in the process of relocating mine as well.
thanks.

Sorry to bring this post back to life, but I am in the process of installing a FAST system I just purchased. You wouldnt know by chance what size drill bit to use and what size pipe tap would ya!??? Thanks for any help!

We always put the ATS in the up pipe, we see a more stable air temp there, no hot idle soak & no temp spike on decell, less o2 correction swing at idle speeds. This is just our observations and another way of doing it.

I agree with Dale, I think it may tend to heat soak less in the up pipe. Probably easier to put in the plenum however for most people :)
