If anyone has their MAT sensor in the intake and is using alky--what temp are you seeing # wot with the alky spraying?

I tried

to read all that--hard for an old man--Do I understand that without alky around 390 and with alky around 210? BTW, thank you very much for answering.

As I am getting older, this is getting hard for me as well, but, Your understanding is correct.
The MAT reading depends on a few factors; Ambient, Amount of alky, Boost, Location of MAT, Type of alky, Injection point of the alky, Turbo efficiency, Engine temp, etc.

FWIW, I have seen closer to 140-150F at 19PSI on a 95F track day.
Hope this helps.

glad to see my thread is getting good use. I agree with jerryl. There are alot of factors. on my current setup i will peg the IAT sensor at 255 deg. it just depends how long i stay in it. with out alky it will peg 255 quick. however when i run low boost (16psi) the temps actually start to drop the longer i stay in it. now this is great but at the track, i rarely see a temp drop.
