Matching Converters ??

What would some of you guys recomend for a converter and cam Combo to match a garret turbo that flows 800 CFM Similar to a TA49 ??? my car already has a 206/ 206 webber but im thinking something bigger? OR NOT LOL Not really to sure. I have heard different things? Looking for elevens :tongue:

I use to run a 2800/3000 stall (orange stripe) with a TE44. I felt like the car still needed more converter. In hindsight I should have run a 3200 stall with that set up. Today I run a 3500 Pat's l/u converter with a TE67, stock gear and 26" tires. I think I could easily run a 3600/3800 and still be happy. I am doing a trans-brake in the next few weeks. That might wake up my converter. My car is mostly street but does see track time a few times a month.

our car are not big cam cars,i have a 206/206 rollor and plan to get in the low to mid 10s this year

a modified d5 converter will work fairly well with that turbo.it will give you 2600 to 2800 stall approximately.if you want to go to the track with it and are running 18 plus pounds of boost use a 10.5 inch 3200 stall and youll love it.www.CKPerformance.com
