max boost on alky?

How much boost/timing....

Last year with the other alky kit I ran a 12.2 25# of boost, 20° 1st/2nd, 18° 3rd/4th. With my 11.87 I was running C16 and upped the timing to 24°/22°Any more timing and it would knock BAD, and this was using Denatured. With Razors kit and Methanol in the heat of the day at 95° I have run 25# and 24° 1st/2nd, 21° 3rd/4th with ZERO KR. I did try 26°/23° and it knocked when it shifted into 3rd. That's all the testing I'm going to do on the street. That's with the crummy 91 octane we have here, 5200ft elevation, and stock block/heads/cam. It's all in how the car is tuned, and what your combo is if you can match or exceed boost/timing with alky over c16. Can't wait until it cools off a little out here to see how low of an 11 I can get with methanol.

Tonight with 2 friends @ about 500lbs together, I went to 27psi on 91 octane w/ the PAC kit and 50lb injectors.

The chip is an erik marshall 23/21 chip,and I retarded the Trans+ to the A setting on WOT spark.

I have run 28#'s for some time with alky and 92 octane pump gas. The last time I was at the track I ran a 12.6 et at 62 mph. The car did not work right and it popped back through the intake and I blew all the vacuum lines off the motor. I also pushed out a head gasket. I am not sure but I think the fuel pump was not working up to it's usual standards. You figure out the ET If I ran my normal speed in the quarter! You all go ahead and buy your race gas. I am going to keep using the pump gas and alky. BTY I am paying race gas prices for 92 octane pump gas here in Kansas. What is race gas going for per gallon at your track these days????? Regular unleaded is now 2.69 in my town. Everyone needs to bend over and take it up the a!! because this is only the begining!!! In the immediate future you will need to take out a loan in order to fill your tank. I just paid $50.00 to put gas in my truck and it did not fill the tank!!!!!!!! Not a double tank but just the old single tank that came standard with the truck. I guess we will all just sit back and take it!!!!!. What do you all think????? I think that we need a revolution. Like we all stay home and no one goes to work. We refuse to pay the gas prices that the oil companies are demanding. I bet this would get their attention. What do you all think??? Or, you all can go on as usual and soon you will all be paying well over $3.00 per gallon for gas and liking it!

33-34lbs/23 degrees-1st and 2nd...30-31lbs/21 degrees-3rd. 0-kr in all three gears. O2's 768-770's. 93/PAC. Direct Scan. Razor and Mike Licht's products combined have helped make my car so easy to tune and run so well that for the money in my application not having to buy racing fuel any longer and detuning the car for street duty after a race, to me, is the best of both worlds. I dont have any 1\4 times yet but after running down a CBR600 that was spraying, I feel like it should do fairly well. I dont have the Moser axles to launch hard with, yet. THe 1\8 mi. track I have tried to TNT at the past few times didnt treat the track very well and I couldnt hook at all above a 3lb launch but that netted some 7.40's @ 96 with 26-27lbs.
