Im building up my 109 block with all the good stuff and im stuck on the engine managment situation. Ive herd some very good things about the ME-R maffless chip, but i dont like the fact that it is a open loop system. The FAST looks really good as well and comes with a wide band o2 for more accurate tunning. Can you guys shed some light on this problem?

Ill be running 72lb. injectors
 
well, I guess the problem is the difference in cost...if you want WB 02 input, buy the FAST

on most cars, the ME-R is more than adequate ASSuming your tune is reasonably close.....and you can use a WB 02 to tune it.....

if you are going to 9's and better get the FAST....otherwise, if you can tune, get the ME-R (the ME-R does support 9 sec cars also)
 
yea that sounds good to me. What will i need to make that chip be successful? Direct scan wide band o2?
 
Use a EGT or better yet get a wide band. I run the system and like it. A little tricky at first but I'm learning. Poor man's DFI:cool:
 
the best of all worlds with the ME-R is an egt and WB 02 (and scan tool, of course)

you can get by with egt and scan tool if you are careful
 
thanks a lot guys, i will be most likely going with the ME-R.

One other question, does anyone else make a 3" external wastegate downpipe besides ATR? and what is the best external wastegate right now?
