Bought a plenum on ebay from keith. Before I bought it i sent an email to see if it was already made ready to ship. Of course I got an email back saying yes . Paid on the 3rd. He made a shipping label for it on the 8th. (which doesn't mean anything) I emailed him many times to confirm shipment with not 1 reply back from him. I filed a complaint via PPal, but this stupid label he printed out is going to screw me I think. Because it shows a tracking # for the package, but that does not mean it has shipped out yet though. Not sure what else to do??? In the back of my mind I knew this was going to happen! I know it's only been just over 2 weeks. But with no replys back to any of my emails, thats what really gets me. This blows!!!!! Should of paid more for the part from a real Turbo Buick vendor! :mad:
 
Fine, but why not reply to any emails?????? And when I asked before I bought if it was ready to ship he said yes. :confused:
 
my plenum took a month to get here.. I didnt mind, cause i wasnt in a hurry
Like i said its really worth the wait.

You will get your part, I am still waiting on a downpipe i paid for in April and was told it would be done in 5 weeks. He wont answer emails i dont know why. I got ahold of him today about my pipe he said he would ship 2 weeks ago. He said he shipped it last Friday and sent it parcel post, he wont ship ups anymore unless the part weighs more than 60 lbs. He read me my addy so I am sure he sent it just wish he would have better communication. I checked his ebay score and people on there are saying he is late but the product is worth it they say. Paypal will only give him so much time to show delivery so dont worry you will get it or your money, but i am sure it will be worth the wait.
 
It is always the same sh#$% vendors with the negative feedback. I can't understand is WHY do people still order from them. Whether is a good product or not why should people have to wait for months to get it. Now it is another story if the vendor tells you straight up before the sale that he/she will have to wait for a certain amount before receiving product. This way the customer could decide on whether they want to wait that long before they put up the cash. Fair is fair :mad: :mad:
 
I've been trying to get ahold of him myself... guess i gotta drive down there.

send me an email: spoolinup@hotmail.com about your purchase and when i go down there, ill ask what's up. There's a couple of other guys I've gotta respond to as well... im making a little list for the private buyers. I remember last I was down there he had a few of em done... but that was a few week's ago so idk of his current stock.

... i hope he's still alive down there ... :confused:

I feel for you but this guy has a reputation, good work, horrible service with tons of shipping lies.

The problem is guys are willing to put up the lies and say things like Pacemakr86 did about how its worth the wait. Sorry, its not. He lies, lies and lies, then eventually comes through.

If you guys would just STOP BUYING PARTS FROM MEASE, he might get a clue. But when people keep saying things that are really this, put up with the lies and be happy to receive the part whenever it ships, he will keep up his patterns and not do anything to change the horrible service. I guarantee if you whole GN community stops buying parts from him he would at least have to consider changing so that he can keep up his income.

If you guys know any Psychologists you would know that he will NEVER CHANGE. Human behavior is scary predictable at patternistic.

So pretty much I am saying, you go in knowing you are not getting it on time so wait and get a nice part but help him continue his ways, or just do not buy from him and MAYBE he will change.
 
I hear what some of you guys are saying about knowing how he is. The only reason I took the chance was because I emailed before I bought asking if this part was made ready to ship. Getting a reply back saying yes it's already to ship, I took the chance. And I don't get why there was a shipping label already printed?? Maybe to buy himself some time?????? This is my last part I need for my new motor too! Thats what really sucks
 
That tracking number will actually PROVE you did not get the part and should help if you decide to file a dispute. When tracked it will show the part has not been delivered
 
I had no choice but to buy from him because he is the ONLY vendor who will still make a downpipe for a hot air. I dont think boycotting him buy not buying buick parts will do any good, from talking to him he is trying to get away from it. He has some other projects he is working on so he doesnt need to depend on GN parts sales. I have not heard of anyone not getting their part and no one complaining of the quality. When i talked to him a couple days ago one of his workers came in to ask him a question and he told him micromanage wise how to finish the part so the quality would be top notch.
 
The best way to deal with keith is to get the part in person by driving to his shop in Jersey. I have some of his products on my car and theyre very nice. I did not buy them direct from him though, I got them from a friend of mine that went to his shop and picked them all up. It kinda sucks but thats the way it is with him. You either deal with it because the parts he makes are worth it, or you buy from another vendor.
 
As Mike said, the tracking number will tell you not only if you got the part, but will also prove if it was shipped yet or not. If it is UPS, just log on and run the tracking number. I am sure Fed Ex does the same type system.
 
The shipping label that was made is for USPS via PPal. I filed a complaint through PPal, but nothing since there is a tracking # for my mystery package.
 
i was there a couple weeks ago to pick my plenum up- he had a couple on the shelf.like somone said- he wont care if you boycott, he is mainly dealing with the ImpalaSS/caprice LTI crowed now, and from a bunch of guys i talked to they are happy with him.

hes not a crook- hes just overextended, he has a huge amount of work load, and very few employees. hes really not even a vendor- hes a fabricator. look at all the people bitching about not beable to ever get their hands on a THDP anymore- its a 4 week wait or more for companys to get them in stock. if terry houstin dealed with only the direct public and not vendors- then there would be a bunch of threads about him being slow too. the man is just over extended- if you dont like it dont buy from him, but i agree with pacemaker- its well worth the wait
 
The only way i would deal with him is in person if i have the time and no other choice or see if bweavy or vsix has any of his stuff. not worth the trouble in my mind.
 
I personally shipped out 3 plenums today, one a 70mm. He also said he shipped out more yesterday, but I didnt deliver them to the USPS.

Did he ship out my downpipe yet. He said he did but it has been 2 weeks and it should not take that long to get here.

It's been 1 month since I paid for the plenum. Not 1 email back from these guys. And no part yet?? Go figure. WHAT A JOKE!
