When I first installed a ductile roller cam many years ago with a shim kit, it was such a PIA and for the next 300 or so, all were installed with a late-model steel, spring loaded roller button. So far, no spring or cam failures due to this method.

To be able to use the 3 bolt retainer system, first the cam must be a billet one, and the nose of the cam must be machined to fit.

The timing gear uses a key to position it, and a spacer, gear and bolt are needed to complete the assembly.

Ok. So my caliper has a jacked up screen, and i actually have .015 movement. I am going to order a spring loaded cam button.
