Danica Patrick had a mechanical failure (I thought she ran out of gas but whatever) and was seen on video banging the steering wheel repeatedly in disgust and frustration . I dont know why I think this is funny but it gets better... she then gets out of the broken car and then simultaneously pumps both fists in a kind of paper, rocks, scissors, motion . But wait theres more, then she takes of her 2 thousand dollar helmet and throws it down, and then gives the hands on the waist pose just like my 5 year old when I tell her its bedtime. I wonder, if in fact she did run out of gas, could it have something to do with her comments about the Rahal-Letterman team? Its a good thing she didnt come to the Nextel Cup races cuz she would have been a victim every Sunday.

she is a indy driver

and i actually think its lame that everyone wants to see her flip out, so what if she does or doesn't. She is a race car driver in INDY. Funny how all the people that dont like her are people who could never drive indy? Next time one of us from this board drives an indy car LET ME KNOW.

She didn't even flip out, that was just frustration. Have you not seen a REAL woman flip out? Can you honestly say Danica trip was a real woman flipping out? Haha please. Just my 2 cents nothing more nothing less. I like Danica just because she is a indy driver and I am not. Not because I am a man and she is a woman. But I dunno, maybe living with 4 females has ruined my mind set.

Besides I'm to busy watching John' force and his F*'ed up lifestyle and relation ships, his daughters are WAY HOTTER then Danica :biggrin:

I dont think she has more talent than any of us. Sure she has more seat time in one of those million dollar go-carts but deep inside she is just a spoiled kid. Give me a couple of hundred hours of the same seat time and you would see my name on the Borg-Warner throphy. If she had testicles she wouldn't even be sitting in that car. The only reason she is where she is at today is because she's a little girl competing against men. Purely a marketing tool and she knows it, the car owners know and the fans know it. The more hype the better. Too bad she didn't go to NASCAR. Those two were meant for each other. Two money making machines IMO.

It's a sad commentary on todays sports fan when the likes of Danica Patrick and Michelle Wie can become rich and famous for doing... nothing. Reporters follow them around everywhere they go and report on everything they do and yet between them they have exactly zero victories. Zero.

And the fans eat it up. Danica Patrick, thoroughly average in every respect, is the most popular driver in the IRL.
