Hey Guys
Welcome me to blowm H/G club.Here is my sad story,3weeks ago ran a cobra at a 35mph roll,jumped great 20# boost ran it to 70,let off some old fart pulled in front of me.The engine or downpipe popped,engine smoke out of breathers.Had it towed to a wellknown mech.I told him the temp.went to 240 just after pop.
Stayed with him pulled heads,sure enuf number 4 blew gasket into intake manifold.I had good buddy doctor sent nick micale radiator,and dual ramcharg.fan had 160 thermo/rmi25,new wires K/B powerplate,new gauges,shift kit,ultra chip.Now mechanic calls me with good/bad news
.He installs H/G,radiator, could not fit ramfan,too much work he said.Knew I was in trouble now!!! He runs car 20 min.he said temp fluckuated 160-240 and down again radiator cool,probly bad gauge watever.
Took it on interstate running great,now he's on main drag 40mph
he said boost went to 22#gooollee,he punched it ran to 70mph
car pops smoke rolling out breathers.He says #4 gone pull plug wire no difference.He said check injectors/compression.
Bought car as dream after years am I in trouble,wife says unload wen U git it fixed/theres no way.
Retired 2 yrs.ago got car 11/2 yrs.ago luv it never leave it.
Dad passed day after blew H/G,Been in Maryland since.
Now I got this sh@#$ with mechanic.
Pleese Help ???? Cant Do It Myself ,Bad Back,Had 2 take early Retirement.Gotta git my baby back
