Memorial for CharlieF1

I know everyone has been wondering what are the details moving forward with Charlie's death, and want to know how they can help. Well first I want to let everyone know that his burial has been taken care of. He will be laid to rest next to his father at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. There will not be a funeral per Charlie's request, but we have a memorial planned. Charlie's classmates from Southwest and Paschal high schools in Fort Worth have planned a memorial for Sunday, October 30 , 3pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, with a afterparty at one of his friends house close by. This will be a potluck meal and a chance to share all the memories we all had of Charlie. I think the one thing that would be awesome would be to have as many Buicks in the parking lot as we can get. I am glad we have a few weeks so everyone will have a chance to make plans to be here. If there is any questions don't hesitate to ask. I will find out if they need anything, but the way it looks, they got everthing covered. This will be a great gathering of Charlie's high school friends, college friends, former co-workers and, of course, Buick friends.

I hope it is ok to post this here. These are mere suggestions. Ive not stayed at any of these but they are near the location of the gtg and would be on my list if I were to stay over that way.

Terrible to be late to the news...hate to hear about Charlie, great dude and a credit to the Buick community...not only thru his own efforts but also showing the concern and fellowship we have....rare in this day and time. I will try to make the memorial, but my thoughts go out to his family and close friends.
