Merging Drivers Look Out!!!

This afternoon I was coming home on 540 driving about 70mph and had cars on both sides and behind me and was coming up on a on ramp and there was this car coming on and they was driving at a slower rate and did not even look and just drove out onto 540 and the driver in front of me all most stopped and I all most hit them and could not get over into the other lane because of other cars.Do people know that you are supposed to merge when its clear? This isnt the first time this has happened. I seem to see it more and more.Have they changed the rules on this since I took my driving test about 40 years ago!!

People dont grasp the concept of merging . I always yell "like a zipper"

That happened to me a few days ago. For some reason folks think the interstate traffic has to yield to them instead of the mergers using the accellerator pedal like a ramp is designed for. Some bluehair cut me off while I was shaving (electric razor) and caused me to spill the hot coffee I had in my other hand onto Mr Johnson and the twins and to top it off the phone I was using (holding with my neck and shoulder) fell into the dam coffee cup dis-connecting an important call! There oughta be a law I tell you.....
