I see many threads but not a lot of info.

Looking for feedback on this pump.

I'm running a CAS V2 FMIC, aluminum 2 row single pass rad, stock fan, stock water pump with straight water.

AZ is balls hot. Car runs 190-200° all the time

Before you try a new water pump, replace the stock fan with a dual fan setup. That should help a lot especially with front mount inter coolers.

There are many members here including myself run the Chrysler Intrepid dual fans from early 90’s. They require simple mods to mount them and electrical harness adapter and relay. Do a search and you’ll find plenty of info.

I'm running dual Spal fans and a big aluminum radiator with a front mount in Phoenix. 180 to 210 degree running temps aren't unusual to see.

If you want to pursue a Meziere pump, I have one for sale.

Interesting.
I've had her since 2010, this is the second engine. It's always run that way. Runs nice and cool on the coast by Lou and Mike...

New engine has TA Aluminium Heads, too. Old one was Champion Irons, if that matters.

Thanks for the info. Seems to me the spal brush fans arent getting it done. I'll review some BLDC fans, design something up and post back.

I got a spare one of these, these specs seemed very similar to the Ram Fans and might be a new version of them.

Caspers fan harness also a nice addition.

From here if the temps stay 190+ then it's simply air hitting the rad at your high heat, consider ram air radiator kit from Buick GN.

I'd imagine you'll be lucky to get 180s at 95 degree days even on our cars with the goodies on it. We're temp greedy in here, in the Talon world 190 to 200 is great, 200-210 very common.

Link to the ram air radiator kit please :)

I got this, didn't really need it but with a liquid intercooler radiator and a normal one I was like I better make sure. Stays 175 turn on no problem even in 88 degrees last week and on the highway was like 164, even LIC radiator was 91.

Im in AZ too 1 qt antifreeze and a bottle of my favorite water wetter no over heating 160-165
But I run a a stretch SLIC. We really don't have much to gain with a front mount over Precision SLIC when spraying ALKY. At 100 degrees air temp I leave the
at lights its 120 IAT and goes to 85 before the 1-2 shift spraying ALKY. My personal thought would be a SLIC. I have a OLD ACTION 15 row not the best thing out there and I would not trade it for the best Front mount out there.

I was thinking about moving to a SLIC from my CAS V2 FMIC. I dont think its much loss if any with SLIC and alky or SLIC and E85

I think there's a link on the boards by Chuck or Grumpy to the old intercooler pressure drop tests and temp data. A great modern SLIC with Alky or E85 helps with spool up keeping MAT in line along with cooling the radiator better with more direct air flow. The FMICs are great but car context matters too.

But I bet twin fans might be all that's needed if THensley is at your ideal temp in AZ too on stock fan but set to high.
