me thinks you missed the point of my post... probably didn't watch the video, either..

here it is again:

the thing about Michael Bolton is that he knows where he fits in the pop culture of this country- a lot of people buy his music for some reason, but no one will admit to it... he's kind of the punchline for a lot of jokes, and he's fine with that and willing to use that to make more money for himself... gotta respect that.

He's got a good sense of humor.
Besides - you're right.

I actually like those commercials. I thinks its bc of the jack sparrow song whatever he does now is spoofy. Thats how I took those commercials..
