And....that's a real big block nova, not just another converted granny car.

Actually if it's indeed a '72 it would be a converted car, since the last year for a big block in a Nova from the factory was 1970.

I'd say go for it. Novas are simple built cars and don't take much to go quick. Plus big blocks and 4 speeds are just awesome. FWIW I own both a Nova ('69 model) and a TR, so you know I have the best of both worlds. :D

Ya know, in retrospect, you're right. I didn't take note of the '72 year. I just happened to notice the BB heater box under the hood.

Wish I still had my 69 BB. :(

hello; Everyone has an opinion and that's how people are. And maybe driving a big V-8 with a 4 sp. would change my mind. I wouldn't trade. Maybe a V-8 4 sp. in the form of a AC Cobra,Vette something more of a sportier car I would like better. I don't know I've only driven foreign car standards and maybe any big V-8 4 speed would be nice in any car. who knows
Go for it and have fun.

Well, the longer the guy waits to get back with me the harder it's gonna be for me to trade. Just bought an alky chip today;)

waited to long... Car is off the market. I'm shooting for 11.99 by next spring. I think with alky and a converter I should be close.

Damn! you guys are killing me:biggrin: The whole reason I traded my 64 for the GN was it slugged gas(110 octane), needed to be trailered to the track or show and had no A/C!!:p Dammit I was all set to trade. Had myself talked into it and everything.
My old "slow" nova

I will be putting vintage air on it if I do the trade. What I need to do is park the GN and start working on my 69 SS 396 camaro to subdue this itch I got for the sound of a cammed up V-8:wink:

Thats what I would do instead of trading for a SLOWVA.
