i messed my car up pretty good the other night and its going to need body work so im gonna start on it which will have it off the road for awile..
i did finally get my car in race trim before the turbo let go and it is really nasty to say the least...well it is twisting the car bad even up in high gear which is the only time i can get it to hook up so...
what im thinkng is while its off the road im thinking about converting it back to hot air and painting it getting my interior finished and putting it back on 16 inch wheels
i still have my elcamino sitting in the back yard that is striped down as a hotrod (light weight) and im thinking instead of going with the sb motor and nos im looking at putting my i/c motor in it.
im at the point with the i/c motor that i'll be needing a roll bar even when i go run in street trim and im not going to do that with my buick
with the elcamino it will be lighter and will actually hook up without going nuts with the suspention ...it will be ladder bar rear with trick springs in the front and a full roll cage inside
the frame is notched in the rear but im consitering doing a back half on it then i can get the car/truck lower in the rear and im looking to tuck some 29/14:50 hoosiers up in it and run 3:73 gears with it.
but be looking for another hotair in the 12's when it comes back out...
and a low 10 second elcamino
later....RED
