Mini Van owners/Parents-need opinion

Wow, thanks for all the input.....
I really dont like Minivans myself,,but with having back problems and a petite wife,I really think she will have problems getting my son in the Jimmy,I know I will be in pain hunched over to put him in the Galant.. So thinking of getting rid of both..
I like the idea of the seats folding into the floor ,that way I dont have to ever carry them around or store them..
A minivan in the only logicall thing right now.
But my wife did agree to me have a different TurboBuick for everyday of the week(5day week)
MIni Van makes her happy ,,,,Buicks make me happier....

I have to agree with Bishir, I would seriously look at the Pacifica.
It's a nice cross car and covers both the van and wagon thing well. It also has some great safety ratings and great bells and whistles if you want. I'm not a Chrysler fan in anyway, but if I were looking for such a vehicle, it would receive the nod I think.
It would also be great on your neck (yikes, I know the pain) as the doors open high and wide and enters and exits easily from front and rear. Just MHO

I have an 03 Chrysler Town and Country for sale. It's my second one. The new T&C's have the stow and go seats and they are uncomfortable! I had one for a day. I believe the Honda also has the stow and go seats. Look around, there are more Chryslers on the road compared to any other minivan made.

I know what your going through Dennis. Wife and I are planning to buy a mini-van in the next year or so. Just so hard to get everything in the trunk of a Maxima, You have a stroller, baby bag, portable potty-seat, small cooler with juice, milk, snacks, etc;. Not including toys and stuffed animals. This is just what we take on a 250 mile round trip to my parents. Lord help me this summer when we go on vacation. Just bought a portable DVD player for the little girl(and wife), hope this helps a little.
We really like the Grand Caravan with fold and go seats, and the Toyota Sienna. Both can get kinda pricey though.
Ofcoarse she wants a 4Runner, but until 2 years she drove a trans-am and I'm affraid she'll have the ugly-side-up sooner than later.

Honda Odyssey
If your in the market for a minivan, dont even bother with domestic junk. Get a Honda Odyssey. By far the best minivan in the world. I should know I spent years working on them. They have tons of room and very driver friendly controls. That and they are fast as all hell. They run mid 15's in the 1/4. When your driving it you almost forget its a minvan. If you turn the traction control off you can burn the front tires off of it. Resale value is also higher then the domestics.
