Mirror Problem

87 Turbo Regal. Standard (not cable controlled) mirror on passenger side door won't adjust. Mirror is locked in place & won't move. Suggestions? Thanks

The socket is likely rusted.

Spray it behind the mirror glass, let it sit for a couple hours. Gently try to move the glass.

Not sure if I can get actually get much of it on the socket, but I'll give it a try. Is the socket up close to the mirror glass or farther back in the mirror pod? Thanks.

It will come with a spray tube like WD 40 ( that will work, too) Just slather it up and wrap a towell around the housing while it soaks in to catch the excess.

You might have to keep wiping off the residue for a while.
