missing a gear i think

Ok i can be driving and there will be no problem tranny is shifting right on point nice and firm shifts after driving for a lil bit i notice that is seems like it is missing 3rd gear i can be driving and than 1st comes 2nd comes 3rd lasts for about 300 rpm's and than 4th comes thats what it feels like but that isn't possible since iam d not od it feels like i down shifted its really weird but than the next day i was ripping 2nd and 3rd like a champ and i didn't feel the problem even after driving it for a while , i know my tcc solenoid is bad because in od on the highway the car cant build boost and feels like iam over bumps, does the tcc solenoid mess up other things as well? sorry if it confusing but thats because i have no clue on what the hell the problem is here

That sticking TCC solenoid is most likely your problem. It will cause a 'short-shifting' situation.
