Mixture Control Solenoid CODE 23

I purchased a new MCS for my 87 Grand National due to an error code #23 from my GM Code Scanner, but my problem is I cannot find where the heck the MCS is. Can anyone lend some info.

Also does anyone know of a good shop manual for the GN's? I have been looking around and can't seem to find anything. TIA.

Code 23 is a low MAT sensor reading...Not sure how/why you came up with/or call it a MCS(never heard of it), but if you already haven't been to www.gnttype.org , it's a good place to find a lot of info on these cars...



Helm Publications is about the only one that used to have the factory service manuals for the 86 and 87 GN/TRs...

Mixrure control solenoid is for a carb'd car. Thats why you cant find it.
