I mix MM oil with denatured. I had some MM oil in the throttle body but that should be normal right since the alchy/mm oil mix spray into the throttle body anyway.
I don't believe that small accumulation in the throttle body could cause knock. Of course I could be wrong..
You might try cleaning out the IC (If there is a lot of oil in there, at WOT it would come out as the 400 degree air hits it) and running straight alchy to see what happens.
I don't think the part throttle knock, building boost is related to oil, but it could be from an air/ fuel mixture that is too lean, or rich. That and a broken motor mount, or the THDP hitting the frame come to mind.
If you added toulene to the tank, and it quit knocking, you could take it from there with adjustments to the chip.
