Thinking about (down the road) putting together a similar combo for my T-type to the one I had on my GN about 7 years ago but with a more modern turbo. The T63 was proably 10 years old with a PTE exh. housing when I had it.
I still have the same ported irons from that old combo and a smaller non roller cam. 208/208 vs 210/210.
It was good for 117 18psi (11.50's) on staight 93 and 126 (10.80's) with good gas and 26psi. Didn't 60ft all that well, High 1.6x's with a Vig 3200.
Had a CAS V2 at the time.

The 62-65 is very close.

I concur with Brian.
The 6265 should out perform the older T63E (aka TE45) turbo. Especially once the boost is cranked up past 25psi. It should make more power per lb of boost, as well as spool up faster, resulting in more use able power down low. We are seeing some very favorable real world results with not only the 6262, but also the 6265.

Thanks. I was thinking about the 6262SP? Found a place on ebay that them fairly cheap but don't know if they carry them for the 3 bolt buicks.

I doubt some one on Ebay has billet wheel 62-62 turbos for a good price. Please be carefull and research before you buy.
